Technologies of growing tomato

For normal development, plants do not need the entire spectrum of solar radiation: only 25% of the rays have the desired length for the plants (mainly the blue and red parts of the spectrum).

Red light activates pigments that affect the growth of the root system, flowering and ripening of fruits.

And blue light is responsible for the development of leaves and growth of the plant as a whole, and blue light in adult plants regulates the width of the stomata of leaves, controls the movement of leaves behind the sun and inhibits the growth of stems.

LED Spectra RED lamps are one of the best options for growing tomatoes. By using a combination of LEDs that give red and blue light spectra, you can get a lighting to maximum efficiency.

Before transplanting, seedlings better perceive light emitted by blue and red LEDs. Abundant blue activates the growth of the root system, but slightly slows down the stretching of the ground part. The stalk is strong with frequent internodes.

After transplanting, it is better to reduce the light intensity for several days in order to ensure a rest mode after a stressful transplant.

With the help of LED lamps, you can highlight tomatoes with the right light. The lamps do not heat up, therefore, even at close proximity, they are not able to raise the air temperature or burn plants. When growing tomatoes in greenhouses equipped with such light sources, they grow and bear fruit faster and produce more fruits. But the best part is that LED lights consume little energy and last for decades without replacement.
